Day 1: Arrival Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha Gran Melia Hotel

You will be picked up from the airport by a Exodus African Safaris Representative and conveyed to your accommodation in Arusha where you will overnight, relax, and prepare in anticipation of the adventures to come. Gran Melia Hotel Arusha, is an oasis of calm and aesthetic pleasure.

Day 2: Arusha Town to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we depart for Tarangire national park and arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, we will have a game drive where you can see giant baobab trees, rolling savannah and acacia parkland. This park is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular in the dry season between June and September. It is during this period that thousands of animals- wildebeest, zebra, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, and onyx migrate from the dry masai steppe to the Tarangire river in search of water while the predators such as lion, and leopards follow close by.

Day 3: Tarangire Half Day Game to Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Luxury Lodge

In the morning after breakfast at Treetops Lodge, you will enjoy game drive at Tarangire National Park and in the afternoon go to Lake Manyara Luxury Lodge for Hot Lunch and relaxation. This park is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular in the dry season between June and September. It is during this period that thousands of animals- wildebeest, zebra, eland, harte beest, buffalo, and onyx migrate from the dry masai steppe to the Tarangire river in search of water while the predators such as lion, and leopards follow close by.

Day 4: Lake Manyara Park Game Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation

A morning game drive at Lake Manyara National Park. The park covers 330 sq. km, 70% of which is occupied by the lake. The varied ecosystem consists of ground water forests, acacia woodland and open grassland along the lake shore and sustains a wealth of wildlife, including the big five – lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo. The park is famous for the elusive tree-climbing lions that inhabit the woodland between the lake and the rift valley. We head back to the lodge for lunch and return to Arusha afterwards. In the afternoon you will go to Ngorongoro Melia Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Full Day Game Drive

When you first see Ngorongoro Crater, it looks like a forgotten world. Concealed by the steep volcanic walls is a pristine wilderness including sweeping savannah, pockets of acacia woodland, and glistening lakes and swamps. The Crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. The drive down the into the Crater is an adventure in itself and when you reach the Crater floor, you quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. The Crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands. After a full afternoon inside the Crater, you will go Back to Ngorongoro Melia Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park

Along the way, we’ll pass through the mist-shrouded rain forests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you might be lucky enough to see baboons or even leopards and elephants in the dense undergrowth. Passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will be able to see the breath-taking Ngorongoro Crater before traveling onwards to the Serengeti National Park, which you will reach by midday. The Serengeti National Park is the largest park in Tanzania with diverse landscapes and habitats, such as grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannah and mountains. After an extensive game drive, you will drive to Serengeti Melia Lodge where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park Full Day Game Drive and Balloon Safari

This entire day is set aside for game drives upon the Serengeti. The Serengeti, the habitat of an abundance of wildlife such as impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo, is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. In November and December, the animals move from the northern region, dominated by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south. During the longer rainy season from April to June, they return to the north. Apart from the migrating herds, we may have the opportunity to see the resident predators, leopard, cheetah, and lion, fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

Day 8: Fly Serengeti to Arusha Airport to Kilimanjaro Airport

Rise and shine, today after breakfast at Four seasons Safari Lodge, you will be transferred to Seronera Airstrip inside Serengeti National Park, and then you will connect your domestic flight to Arusha Airport, where you will be met with our driver and then transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your international flight back home, this will be the end of your Luxury Safari, thank you and welcome back.
